Notes

When uninstalling or re-installing Historian, this hotfix should be uninstalled prior to running the Historian uninstallation. The hotfix should be re-installed after installing Historian.


Installation


To install the hotfix: 1. Extract the contents of the hotfix zip file to a location on your computer. 2. Close any web browser applications that are using (or have been used to access)

  the Web Client.

3. If you have manually installed the Web Client previously, this must

  now be uninstalled. Verify this using Add or Remove Programs

4. Double-click the Install.vbs installation script. You should be logged on as an

  Administrator for the script to make changes to your computer.

5. Acknowledge the prompts.


Uninstallation


On a machine with full Historian installation:


1. Extract the contents of the hotfix zip file to a location on your computer. 2. Close any web browser applications that are using (or have been used to access)

  the Web Client.

3. Double-click the Uninstall.vbs uninstallation script. 4. Acknowledge the prompts.

On a machine with Historian Web and Excel Clients only installed:


1. Close any web browser applications that are using (or have been used to access) the Web Client. 2. Use Windows Explorer to open the "C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files" folder. 3. Right-click Plant2NET.Browser and select "Remove". 4. Browse to the product installation folder and delete the P2BCli.dll and P2Net.ocx files. 5. Browse to the Windows system32 folder and delete the TeeChart.ocx file. 6. Finally, in Add/Remove Programs, select CitectSCADA Reports/Vijeo Historian and click the Change button. Run the installer with default selections to refresh your installation.

On a machine with Web Client only installed via Internet Explorer:


1. Close any web browser applications that are using (or have been used to access) the Web Client. 2. Use Windows Explorer to open the "C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files" folder. 3. Right-click Plant2NET.Browser and select "Remove" 4. Browse to the Windows system32 folder and delete the TeeChart.ocx file.
